Detention order issued for Boğaç Soydemir, host of the "Cold War" program

A detention warrant was issued for Boğaç Soydemir, the host of the program "Cold War" broadcast on YouTube, and his guest Enes Akgündüz.
According to Ceylan Sever from Habertürk, an investigation was launched due to a comment made on the program that allegedly included the hadith "Alcohol is the Mother of All Evil."
In a written statement, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said, "Upon detection of posts that were provocative of the public and incited hate speech regarding our Prophet Muhammad, our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation for the crime of 'Inciting the Public to Hatred and Hostility or Insulting' pursuant to Article 216/1 of the Turkish Penal Code."
Boğaç Soydemir apologized in a post on his social media account and wrote the following regarding the issue:
"I want to apologize to the people I offended with a joke I made the other day. I definitely had no such intention. I normally try to be sensitive when making my own jokes. However, we were moving on to jokes from the audience at that time, and that's when I read that joke for the first time. At the time, I thought it was a simple pun, but I should have thought about it later. I realized it after my friends told me. You're right. I apologize for that. We've removed the relevant part from the broadcast."
